What's up Newschoolers!?
I'm coming at you today from Hamburg, where my girlfriend and I are staying with friends on one of the many stops of our "grand tour" of Europe. After reading Twig's exemplary article on the Snow Dome in Bispingen, I figured it was apart of my solemn duty as an avid newschool skier to check out the scene and represent for all the homies across the pond. As it turns out, this coming weekend will be the opening weekend of the park, which promises to provide extra high levels of stoke and revelry amongst us park rats.
Is anybody planning on skiing this weekend? I was most likely going for the day on Friday, but my plans are flexible and would prefer to go when there's going to be more homies! Let a mofo know and let's get down!
Also, what is their rental equipment like? I'm fine making a pair of rental boots work for the day, but I'm sure the rental shop would not be stoked if I totally thrashed their skis. If they do rent twintips I would imagine that would be my best bet, but if not, does anybody going have an extra pair of sticks they could let a brother use?
Either way get at me with any additional information or insight that I might have overlooked. I hope to see as many of you fellow newschoolers out there as possible.
Cheers!
