whats up, i just piccked up some fujis and p 10s for 289, thought it was a wicked deal. i gotta mount em now. i do half park and half all mountain so i was thinkin +4 cuz i heard center mount isnt that good for all mountain. what do you guys think? thanks

Center's the way to go because it's great for park and if you're a good skier it won't affect you all mtn.

Ive riden core center mounted fujatives and they definately ski different and more like a shorter ski, it just takes some getting used to. If i were to ride a center mounted ski again id definately ride a longer plank. Im 5'9 and had the 169 and didnt really like riding centermount because of that but if i was riding a 179 i think that it would have been a pretty big difference to me.

i got em at this place called summit sports, its like a chain of stores and this summit sports was closing so there was a huge sale so i got p 10s and fugis for 289. so on the side of the ski they say mid sole, then +1 +2 up to +6 then it says core center. is that the center? or is the real center farther up.

No they dont ride the same, they usualy turn a bit quicker because your ahead of the sidecut of the ski the way it is designed, there is also alot more tail to deal with which feels awkward at first but you get used to it. Its definately not the same.

Why are you guys even trying to 'get used to it after a while'... it's cause you think it's 'in' to center mount. Guess what, you rotate just as well back from center a bit, and then you can handle your skis better in everything else with no 'get used to it period'

I would say +4 or +5. Although I find my Fujatives work decent all mountain and they're core center.
