Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain

Just trying to get some general info about each. I am primarily interested in riding park (mostly jumps) in the afternoon/night.
- It seems like both areas were open significantly longer than usual this season (Cypress closed April 21 and Grouse closes this weekend) is this correct? When do they typically open and close during an average year?
- Hours: Looks like Grouse closes at 10 every night and Cypress closes at 8 from Dec - late March and at 4 from late March - closing
- How are the parks? I know each has ~5 different parks but what's the general park situation?
- Crowds, accessibility, etc.
- Season pass price, neither website has that info up right now
- Overall, which would you choose?
Thanks

Have rode both and I'm a big Grouse fan it's like my second home mountain the park is prime the staff are always changing it up and setting up creative features and trannys, the jumps the have the big jump line and then in main park few lines of some dece medium large jumps, not going to lie lot of Asian jerrys on hill but never in the park

Grouses park is better. More hits per run, more variety of features, bigger jumps. The only real downside is during the busy times, the Screaming Eagle chairlift gets pretty crazy, to the point where if you aren't sliding through the singles line you're probably waiting 15mins to catch a chair. Cypress can get busy too, but in my experience the waiting times are a little shorter.
At Grouse, you can purchase a Y2Play pass near the end of each season, which allows you to ride for the remainder of the current season, as well as the entirety of the next season for about $400 (adult). Pretty reasonable.
At Cypress, the silver pass is about the same amount of money, but there are some blackout days where you aren't able to use it. I don't know the specifics very well though, as I've never purchased a seasons pass myself.
Your only other concern is transport to the mountain. If you're near a bus route, you can get up the Grouse real easy and then just take the tram up. This allows for the consumption of alcoholic beverages without having to worry about driving home. If you do own a vehicle, getting to Cypress takes about the same amount of time as getting to Grouse, so it's pretty even that way.
Hope this helps. Happy shredding!
