Tignes/ Val D'Isere Park Xmas

Going to Tignes (with extended lift pass to VT) over xmas this year and was wondering what the parks are like at this time of year. I hear Tignes has an airbag which I'm stoked on coz been meaning to get a few new tricks dialled. Will they be in decent condition this time of year and will the airbag be set up? Any other info on the resorts would be awesome too.

May not even have been built by then tbh, been there early season (leave 23rd Dec) and it wasn't there. You gotta remember that Christmas is still really early season. There may be some stuff up on the glacier though.

Hi, december is early season in France but Tignes is one of the highest ski resort and last season began early november. Even if there were snow, nothing on the park until 28th december. And previous years it was later.
But on the Val d'Isere side, park is open sooner, 12th december last season, and was already pretty fun during Christmas period.
The airbag isn't in the park, it's at the bottom of Tignes, not sure but i think it's open at Christmas.
December can be plenty of snow or really really awful conditions. Anyway, you'll love your time there, it's an amazing place.

Was there the second week in January last year and everything was up and running but like the others said it completely depends on next seasons snow fall you could get lucky or very unlucky! Sick place though you'll have a blast one way or the other

Yeah I get that, fully aware that it's early season and isn't likely to be on top form. Just hoping for the airbag to be set up and a few decent kickers to learn to take a few airbag stunts to snow. Just hoping it's good when we go!

Ye I was there first week in January and airbag was up and running so you might be fine

I wouldn't expect a park at all, but I like riding Tignes anyway! You can ski park somewhere else.
