my buddy is making these

OP means "topo" as in "topo map." Personally I think they are hideous.

Make them actual topo maps of actual ranges not wanna be tie die.

I'd buy an actual accurate topo of tahoe in a buff....thatd be sick

They are accurate topo maps of national parks, the rockies, etc, he just adds the colors that make it tie-dye-like. I kind of agree, less colors, more topo would be good. Will share.

yeah i figured that....but adding elevations etc would be cool

My buddy thought it had been done and pointed me here

but that's not really what I have in mind... I'm thinking topo map with elevations, maybe peaks and rivers marked, and less color - is that what you had in mind or is SugarSky along the lines of what you were thinking?
