Faction Candide 2.0 vs Line SFB overall playfulness

I've ridden 2.0's and they are pretty buttery (see Adam Delorme) but still enough that you can just rip around and land stable. As for the SFB's most of Eric Pollards skis are more on the playful side ( from what I've heard at least ) and even Pollard says " they have a buttery personality". So in the end I think the SFB's are gonna be a bit more buttery and lighter but the 2.0's will probably hold up better (cause ya know line skis), Both are playful skis tho.

For playfulness the length is going to have a huge factor on both these skis. I have the 17 SFB and have ridden a 2.0 as well. Im 6ft 220lb, riding the 2.0 @ 178 i could pretty much just press out and hold it there like very easily manual the whole mountain if i wanted and felt like i was going to snap them. The SFB i own at 184? length i found to be actually kinda stiff, like i could barely press them out after 15 days on them this season. Despite a few threads around here i found the new SFB construction is actually quite a bit stiffer than the old versions, and has quite a snappy feel to them when i did try and press them out. it might be worth checking out the blister review for them as i think my experiences on them mirror what was written there.

Mordecais are a bit stiffer then become I believe. Be mindful when buying them

Depending on what SFB your looking at will definitely play a huge role in this decision. The old SFB(108) are super fun playful and all around badass ski. The new SFB(104) is a completely redesigned ski, which I was quite disappointed in. They don't flex, butter, surf etc anywhere near as well as the old ones. That being said if your looking to compare the 104s and the 2.0 your gonna enjoy the 2.0 way more. That ski kills it in every condition. Another ski to consider is the armada arv 106. I personally own this ski and it is by far the best all mtn do everything ski I've ever owned. I've found it's the closest ski to the old 108 SFB and it even performs better in my opinion. Awesome ski. 114mm underfoot is a bit of a departure from the original skis you're looking at but they're still great for all terrain. Enjoy! -jm

Honestly, two of the most similar skis i've ever been on (only skied them on packed pow and bumps)
