Hammock

Looking for a double hammock to bring on camping trips in the spring and summer seasons. Any suggestions?

He got me a double a couple of years ago, and I really like it. It's Grand Trunk Goods. Fabric is decent and comes with rope. Not sure how much you paid for it, but I think you said you got a good deal!

Personally I just use the Eno double with Atlas straps. IMO I think straps are more different than hammocks from company to company. I use Eno just because they provide a lot of options and haven't failed me yet

Another vote for Eno. Been using mine for 5 years and no issues at all. Atlas straps are dope too.

got a brand called. "the blue stone" on ebay and its going strong for 2 years now and is way cheaper than eno

Most are essentially the same fabric. Grand Trunk and Eno are both good. I'd invest in some better carabiners though. The shop I worked at sold both Grand Trunk and Eno and every week we'd have at least 2 or 3 people come in that had bent open the biners that came with their hammock. Get some cheap climbing ones, should be around $6 each.

Kammok is a really cool new brand if you want to spend more. The fabric is ripstop which is nice and a bit more breathable, and they use climbing-grade hardwear on all their stuff.

I have two Tentsile trillium Hammocks that I stack when the right set up presents its self. For the quick and light trip I have an ENO that works great.

buy a cheap amazon hammock and then spend some money on the suspension.

Look up the company Winner. They have double hammocks for 30 bucks and they come with the straps. I got mine a couple months ago and I haven't had any problems with it

you also could save a crap ton of money and get this hammock from honest outfitters. It is basically the exact same thing as an eno and it comes with the fancy straps. Their doubles are less than $30 and their singles are less than $20. I got mine in the mail and it is amazing. I have this single hammock, and it is really nice. Have had it of about a month now, and love it. it comes with straps, which is a plus.
