DeepskierTheyll be long but thats fine, they are novelty long. Short skis are for pussies anyway.
JoeC92Haha, dope. Thanks for the advice.
dwt802Might have wanted the 161 Magnus, but they'll be fine
DeepskierDont listen to this fool, Magnus are softer anyway, besides it will take you a day to outgrown 161s, it will take like a while to out grow a 171, more stable anyway.
JoeC92Yeah good point. 15 rn and will probably grow significantly by next season anyway.
DeepskierYoure 15 and 5'3''? The fuck bro

dwt802Alright let me rephrase what I said in a more helpful way, I'm 5'9 and I rode the 171 Magnus and felt like that was the perfect size for me. That's only my personal preference however. The Magnus has park rocker, so the tips and rails rise early and there is camber underfoot, this will make the ski feel a bit shorter then it is. So with the 171 it will feel shorter and if it lasts for you, you should grow into it. Either way as it is, you should have no problem skiing on it once you get use to it. It's a very fun ski, wish you luck!

JoeC92I see, I kinda wanted to get something longer anyway to grow into. So stoked on getting them. Too bad next seasons so far away and I can't afford windells. Thanks
DeepskierLol dont take offense I was just kidding about the fool
Lol thats fine Windells is the definition of waste of money, its fun and you make connections but there are so many better camps for a better price.
JoeC92Yeah $2000 for a week is just not cool. Might go once in my life if I have that money to throw around but not now. You said there where other camps you knew of for cheaper. Is there one near the east coast? Have you been to windells

JoeC92Probably buying some 171 ON3P Magnus skis this weekend for a good deal. If I'm 5'3 and 130, will they be any trouble. I only ride in the park btw.
VailValleySkierYou know places like Woodward Copper exist right?
Can ski all summer on the weekends for like $200.
JoeC92Hear about Woodward all the time. Never bothered looking at it though. Thought it was another windells basically.
VailValleySkierThey have camp sessions, but for cheaper than Windells. They have a hike park that's open to the public Fri, Sat, & Sun until the end of August. They have a pretty sick barn full of trampolines and ramps that go into foam pits. Pretty sure the barn is open all week, but doesn't start until the afternoon. It's the best place to live near in Colorado if you want to ski year round.
