Video Critique

Hey guys I'm working on a segment for my senior project, which is why sothe beginning will seem out of context, and I just wanted to see what you guys thought and get some advice. I shot this with a hero 3 and I treid to fix the bad lighting by rasing the sharpness and contrast. I also shot this in 1080, then adobe imported and exported it in 720 for some reason, and then youtube only uploaded it in 480 so if anyone could explain that too Id appreciate it.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is a senior project? Is it something for Highschool? (I am from Germany so I would not know.)

I realize I have no right in criticizing your video as I have never shot a ski edit before but what I find a lot in GoPro videos, is that it is super important to go in good weather conditions because a bluebird sky makes the videos quality seem better. Second thought to this is, a completely POV shot video often gets boring for the viewer (unless you Candide Thovex or someone, shooting down an Alaskan spine or something like that. If this is really some important school project of yours: please give it another thought before handing it in as it will, I am very sorry to say this, probably not meet the expectations of your teachers...

Sorry for the rather pessimistic comment. If it helps, I wish I had stayed in Vermont. (We could have skied together!)

Haha yes it is for a high school senior project, I think you're right about only using the gopro in good weather which is unfortunate since There's almost never good weather in Vermont! Also, this is just 2 min out of about a 12 minute project and this is the only part of the project that has Any POV footage at all so I'm pretty comfortable with including this Footage, I'm more wondering about any fixes for the quality issues I'm having... thanks for the advice though and may you return to Vermont sometime soon!
