Post-season depression

what can I do to distract myself from the lack of snow? like I'm actually feeling depressed, not just down. all I have is shredsauce and ns. anyone else feel this way? :(

Find other things to do outside that full fill the void left by skiing. The end of the season is always a bummer I cannot deny that but it is also the beginning to a long list of other outdoor activities: biking season, open water fishing, hiking, summer bonfires, drinking beer. girls in bikinis, beer, eating walking tacos, drinking beer, kayaking, etc.

If none of those do it for yah then wow -- and Mount Hood / Tahoe / Woodward Copper is plenty well off on snow this season for some good summer shred if you want to make the pilgrimage.

Yea, but it gets easier every season. Moving somewhere that has summer skiing or just building your own backyard setup are your two best options. I hate getting so into skiing and then having the season just end the way it does, so I try my best to ski from mid October to late August. Woodward at Copper is pretty fun tbh.

Get yourself into Downhill biking mate. Big claim here but I rate it just as highly as skiing as a sport, so im not too bummed about the season ending. You cannot beat the adrenaline rush you get from Downhill!

Hit the trampoline and train your jump tricks for next season. If you have a water ramp, or dryslope nearby, go practice there. Maybe consider getting a pair of aggressive inlines if you're into blading.

Get into hiking, or skating, or blading, or box, or mtn biking, not scooter, or fishing, or drink beer by the river, or go adventure in weird parts of cities. I think of summer as a time to recharge for skiing and just enjoy a little freedom while I work

I'm with you... and pretty discouraged.

Cliff jumping/swimming is the only thing that I look forward to, but it doesn't compare to skiing.

Find a trampoline park and practice what you want to do on skis next season there.

Treat your downtime like training time for the next season.

If you still feel the need to ski, you didnt push yourself hard enough this year hahaha.

In all fairness, skiing is my drug and I am a hopeless addict. This year I put in 130 days and the body is hurting bad. I use this time of the planks to recover and get psyched for next year.

I can suggest getting rich by getting a job (if your 16+). If not, try rock climbing, mountain biking, and try to make an expedition to be in the mountains and learn some new skills oriented towards skiing.

Heh, my friend does that but the problem is you can only sell like 10 things a month. Plus I'd have to have stuff to sell

You can list up to $30,000 worth of stuff, only ten items if you don't link a paypal. Dude find stuff that you don't need or family doesent want that's what I did.

Last summer I made $2000 selling stuff my family didn't want on my towns facebook buy and sell page. See if your city or town has one just type in like your city and "buy, sell and trade" or something.

Well I usually just be depressed but this summer I'm going to rebuild my summer set up and make it massive, build some rails (including a S rail), Garden, shred sauce, work out and get yoked, hopefully do some backpacking trips and a week or two out at hood, work a ton because I'm saving up for an S4, and Id like to build a hydraulic press and press several skis and I'm also taking college classes so I'll be a new kind of busy.
