Replying to Looking for a good light poppy flexy ski.
Hey guys, I ride about 70 percent park and 30 all mtn. I have pow skis so there's no need for and all mtn ski. However I would like a ski that can handle the crud when i'm riding park.
I am at a very small mtn so I don't hit big stuff often but I'd still like a ski that can handle 30' 40'. I currently ride Vishnu Wets. I love them to death and they are the funnest lightest ski I've ever ridden, but they are too soft for a lot of the new stuff i'm getting into, like stupid soft. I front flipped a couple times on them and stomped it however my head scrapes the ground on take off because the skis are noodles.
I still want to be able to butter but i'd like something more on the poppy side, so I can nollie without worrying about face planting. I like the chronics but I think they'd be to stiff for me, I only weigh 150ib so it takes effort to butter a stiff ski for me. So i'm asking you guys to see what you ride or what you'd suggest. Think super light, flexy, and poppy (i know its hard to have both).
