TheMailManWould anyone agree/disagree that his bindings were too tight maybe? I know most park skiers have there dins up to a million, and for good reason, but in this very instance his knee 'might' have been saved, or better off, if he'd double ejected much easier? I'm unsure when it comes to this sort of thing so.... Thoughts?

RparrNo way of knowing what his din was set at. I'm a big fan of lower din settings. I've been skiing park with a din of 7.5 for 5 years. It only bites me in the ass when I try to tweak mute grabs.
GryllzHe was standing at the end of the video. No way he tore it fully
TGraham9That is completely irrelevant you can tear it clean through and walk it off. Its the lateral movement that is not possible after the injury.
On another note, a buddy of mine got 40 stitches in his thigh after a rail gouged him on a fall. Successfully sued the mountain for all medical bills.

GryllzWell the ACL also plays a significant role in the actual bending of the leg. E.g hyperextension of the leg about knee joint. (back and forth).
Definition of ACL- The cruciate ligaments control the back and forth motion of your knee. The ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) prevents anterior (forward) movement of the tibia off of the femur, as well as hyperextension of the knee (a straightening movement that goes beyond the normal range of motion in the joint)

BigPurpleSkiSuitAnd i thought I might learn rails this season.
Nope
BigPurpleSkiSuitI can now hit a rail, I fully expect everyone who disliked that post to like this post. See the gram for proof.
GryllzMy point was if he did tear it completely, he like wouldn't be standing and walking around afterward due to the pain and instability
