mr-mcsteezeThey are able to do so much with the snow up there. Last summer i was skiing an almost perfect halfpipe into mint june before i left. Everything was really well maintained plus not nearly as many jerrys to ruin everything

mr-mcsteezeand this was all in the public park. What the camps do up there are amazing also
Lilwalshie33What is the public park like? I am Wondering if it will be worth it to go or not.
mr-mcsteezeI was there from late May to mid-June and it started with the half-pipe with 12ish feet walls. Then it was 3 jumps that were medium to largish size. I don't remember their measurements but they were very poppy from what I remember. After that was all rails which they changed up pretty often during the 2 weeks I was there but they always had 15 rails in at least that were always well maintained. If you go to my instagram (linked below) and look back not to far, you can see some of the stuff they had set up
Lilwalshie33Alright I'll check that out and follow u. I'm planing on a 3 week cross country road trip with my friends and we'll probably stop there cause I love skiing and my friend is a boarder.
Mr.BishopSummer skiing is the best thing ever.
Well maybe not as good as pow, but its awesome.
Lilwalshie33May I ask what your favorite part of summer skiing is? Also what is your favorite place to go?
Mr.BishopSkiing park in the summer is rad because it's so slushy most of the time. Especially jumping - it's a great time to practice your jumping.
If you're talking North America then both hood and whistler are awesome if their own way. I went to summer camps in Whistler and worked there for many years at the Camps.

Lilwalshie33If you like slushy skiing come to the poconos in PA. It's slushy like 90% of the time there but everything is so small. I am looking into going to mount hood this summer possible just going to the public park when I'm gonna be in Oregon but I'm also gonna be in California before that and know mammoth is gonna be open until July 4th. Do u know if they will have Jumps and rails or just normal trails?

Mr.BishopI've been to Big Boulder a couple of times when they used to run the SJO. It was a good time!
Mammoth always has at least a few jumps and rails. Later you go, less they have but they're known for their park stuff so there's almost always something there to ride.
Earlier in the summer has more snow, but usually more chance of variable weather. Later, more sun less snow.
Last week of June/first week July always seems to be a relatively good bet to get your best chance of a good mixture of snow/weather.
