csdavidson18Stacked pretty hard last weekend and got a mild concussion. Dr said I could ski in 2+ weeks but I'm really tryna make it out for closing day this weekend. Thoughts on skiing with a concussion? Experiences? Tips?

drumbumocdpWrap your head in bubble wrap, then put your helmet on. You'll be fine, I do it all the time
Profahoben_212Absolutely don't. Luke Nolan said....your got a month or more at squaw come visit us
PataguccimaneYo Ris you've still got about 5+ weekends at squaw after you get cleared so I would wait it out.

theabortionatorBring a tank of helium with you. If you huff it, your head will be light, making it impossible to slam hard. You will gently float to the ground, like a snowflake frolicking in the evening streetlights. So peaceful. So peaceful
theabortionatorIn the end it's up to you. The reason why it seems like doctors are being overkill about concussions now, is because we know how bad they cn be when they stack over time.
About the worst thing you can do is get another concussions while still healing from a previous.
If you do go out, I'd consider taking it easy. It all really depends on the severity of the concussion.
I will tell you that as somebody who has gotten way too may, it's pretty fucked though. My brain sucks, and now I can get concussed very easily. Your first few unless massively traumatic, it's amazing what you'll bounce back from feeling good as new. At a certain point all those head injuries stack and your left with a fucked up brain.
I'm not going to tell you what to do, but like I said, if you do decide to go out I'd be careful. Head injuries, like wu tang, are nothing to fuck with.
Things like having severe headaches for a year or life. Not being able to remember shit. Not being able to take the compression of running, landing flat, anything. All kinds of fund stuff.
Be careful.
