I built one myself and managed to get it to work wiThout snowflex as that material is ridiculously expensive without buying in bulk. If u have and questions you want annswers of specs for design PM me.

I've been told the stuff works well BUT it makes your skis smell like burning rubber, and isn't the best for your skis. It also can ge quite pricey. If you go this route I recommend using it in strips where your skis will be traveling down the ramp or for jumps on
It's fine, it's durable and soft like rubber. Many people use them for park setups and use it in their landing. There's a small resort and they have a whole mSnow hill with a park and the snow just goes over it in the winter and when it melts in the summer it's ready to use again. The only problem with it is it is a little expensive, I would use it wisely for the in run or the drop in and use something cheap like outdoor carpet for the landing.
I mean it would be fine, but if you fell on it, that shit will scratch you like you never thought you could be scratched. Just use turf for the landing.
Yea and if you look at the approximate cost page the lowest amount square feet is 30,000 and I talked to someone on Newschoolers and he said he got his from extras left over at a dryslope place
