Deepskieron3p if I wear you those shits charge and they will back it.
Ev_schu41But what like makes on3p so amazing? The durability is great but for like 750? I'd rather get good durability out of j skis for like 450

VailValleySkierJ Skis has a warranty too and Jason doesn't hesitate to make sure you're taken care of. He'll call you personally to work out either a refund or a new pair of skis if you have any problems with durability. I'm sure on3p does the same, but for $250 more.
At the end of the day, just ride the brand that will make you want to get up and out there representing. For me, that's J Skis because I always feel the love back.
RudyGarmischIf the damage to your ski is not covered by warranty, ON3P will professionally fix the damage, if you haven't totalled the ski. What other ski company backs their products up like that? For that, what car manufacturer does that?
ON3P

CaseyI had never heard that. How does that work? Seems like unless I lived close to the factory it would be cheaper to have a shop do base welds and such, but it's cool that they offer it.
iggyskierIt depends what it is. If it is basic ski repair, we recommend a shop. But if the damage is substantial or you don't have a good local ski shop around, all we ask is that you send the skis to us. We repair them for free and send them back on our dime. We're a bit slow on the turn around (as we are building skis full time, so this is basically a stay late and have a beer sort of deal) but if you can get the skis to us, the rest is free of charge.

iggyskierOP - asking for clarity on my part - what 2 skis are you comparing where the ON3P is in the same ski range, but is $750 and the Jski is $450? Just never seen any pricing that suggestions a $300 price difference (for example - Magnus @ $599, Whipit @ $549). If you get a deal through ON3P, whether thru proform (as an industry member) or shop form (as an employee of an ON3P-specific retailer), obviously the pricing is less than the $750 you have listed as well.
Just trying to understand your choice.
As for which brand to go with, I'm not here to preach ON3P vs Jskis in regards to performance or durability (nor am I big proponents of ON3P athletes doing so in the forums). Our skis are well spoke for and have the rep they do for a reason. That said, if you think you would be happier on a Jski, I strongly support the decision to buy from J (or Moment, Praxis, or any of the smaller companies that are putting out good skis). Rooting for your competition can be strange, but we have a ton of respect for J and how he's shined the light on some pretty wack things in skiing the past couple years. Skiing needs strong indie companies doing the right thing, so at the end of the day, I'm just really stoked that this thread is between two of the best ski brands out there.
Good luck with your choice.
