LemuelFor some reason people don't like to believe the article / review I wrote on the Vishnus. 35+ days of hitting rails and 0 edge cracks. And one scratch on the topsheet. No peeling, no delay, no chips out of the sides. I'm not BSing, I couldn't believe how well they looked after skiing them for that long. The Dimes that Revision sent me, those blew up in my closet. The Vandal 2.0's that Majesty sent me (I'll have a roof box / review soon) are awesome skis but I have about 10 edge cracks with only a handful more days than I put on the Wets. Vishnu is the real deal.
.MASSHOLE.My guess is that you're just one person with one review of Vishnu vs the numerous reviews of ON3Ps
Mr.BishopLemuel actually was part of our review team for a few years. Can definitely confirm he knows his stuff.
.MASSHOLE.That may be the case, but most people (me included) don't know that/are skeptical given that it's just one person and everyone treats gear differently.
Still, it'd be sweet if Vishnu could get the same rep. as oN3P
Mr.BishopFair enough. We're going to have a lot more testing coming out over the summer and a growing test program so we'll be sure to include more tests.
I havent skied on them yet personally, though I think I should give it a shot.
Swandog7If you're ever looking for some more gear testers, shoot me a pm. Been trying to for the last 2 seasons.
BWalmerThe program was kind of phased out. It's basically just Twig now. That being said, if it does come back, the best way to get on the team is to have a ton of high quality reviews written, so just review anything and everything you can get your hands on.
BWalmerThe biggest difference is really going to be stiffness. Depending on the model, ON3P is going to have either a slightly more stable platform (Magnus) to a far more stable platform (Kartel models). The Vishnu Wet is a very soft ski with some pretty excessive hing points in the tip and tail, while the elliptical rocker profile of the ON3Ps will be smoother and even in the flex. I haven't ridden the Wet, but based on flex, I'd bet that the Magnus and Kartel 98 will both hold an edge better under speed as well.
LemuelI will say that the Wet is more stable than the Soul Rider if that gives people an idea that it's not as soft as claimed. It is extremely playful but that's because the the 3 stage rocker-esque design.
spushkinI'd really recommend ON3P. My Vishnu's delayed after 5 days of skiing in Breck, no park or anything. Literally just skiing the seven trails that were open the first week of December. They denied my warranty then. The delam got really really bad and the edge starting coming out mid season. They're completely ruined now. They couldn't do anything to help me wither because they don't make their skis and they had no money or skis to offer me to warranty.
The quality from ON3P is just unmatched by Vishnu. Vishnu's skis are really fun and very soft, but I'd really spend the extra money and get the good quality ski made in the US.

.lenconeveryone thinks soft skis suck. If you dont like them.. good for you. But really if you are a good skier you can do a lot with a soft ski.
