Took a tour of ON3P factory

So while visiting Portland I went by the ON3P factory just to see it and I wasn't expecting much, but I walked in and a guy popped out of the office and was like "want a tour?". So the man they call Jeff took a half hour out of his day to give me a full tour on how they build their skis and everything that goes into building them. All the dudes in there were super nice and they had this lil weiner dog running around. It was a really cool experience and I hope there are more people out there like the crew at ON3P. The skiing community is in my opinion one of the nicest sports community out there. They even gave me some stickers and sent me on my way. So shout out to the guys over at ON3P for making my week!

Moment guys did the same thing. Nice to have small companies like these around that support the community with blood, sweat, and tears.

I've done DPS and 4FRNT, they were both super sick and had really cool guys, and it was wicked to see the ways skis are made.

I'm pretty convinced it was guys from ON3P but I'll tell you a quick story!
I go to school in North Carolina and run my schools ski and snowboard team. A few of us qualified for nationals which was out at Mt. Bachelor. One day Deschutes Brewery was handing out free beer near the main lift. I went to get some and it was endless refills so we stayed for like 15 minutes. Went back to my kartel 108s to find somebody had put some ON3P stickers under my bindings! Also we got dumped on all week.

Oregon is sick, ON3P is sick, and I need to get out of the southeast.

I was just in Portland and I know people hate it cuz of its hipster vibe but its skiing is pretty great. The college I looked at had a cabin on Mt Hood for all students

I was on a flight to North Carolina a few weeks ago, some guy was talking about how the biggest mountain on the East Coast was in NC. Thinking I know everything, I jumped in and started talking about how Mt. Washington was definitely the biggest.... I was quite embarrassingly wrong.

Was in Portland 6 or 7 years ago and also got the full tour. Awesome guys and sweet company for sure. I've been a strong supporter of Surface but it looks like they've faded out so ill have to give ON3P my money next.

That was probably the old factory. The current factory is pretty impressive, and I'm sure people would be surprised at the professional setup that ON3P runs these days.

Portland is dope, dont let the "hipster scene" scare you away, its condensed and there are plenty of non hipsters in portland.

This is all great to hear. The other cool thing about all these companies is the unique skis they bring to the market.

I was impressed with the operation back then too, next time I get to Oregon ill have to make a point to check out the current factory.

When the K2 factory was still on Vashon I went there for like a school project to interview someone or something, and they were super nice and show me around a little bit, but no one from the outside was allowed to see the actual factory, they were like paranoid their trade secrets would get out or something I always thought that was kind of weird.

If I manage to find myself in Portland I'm definitely coming to see the factory that built 3 out of the last 5 pairs of skis I've owned.

Still regret selling those Viciks...

So nice to hear someone who actually knows about Vashon. Even people in west Seattle have no clue what it is.
