I'll be lead drone cinematographer in a big ski photoshoot in Mammoth, California, in mid-May 2017.
We'll be using a DJI Inspire, and I'm looking for an intern to operate the camera as I pilot the drone.
The experience is all-time. You will be on-set with the world's best skiers for a week, directly participating in camera operation for a major ski film. You will see how it all goes down, and you will learn the ins and outs of drone operation and action sports cinematography.
We will take care of your lodging, food and ground transportation while you are there. You need to be able to get yourself to Mammoth, and you need to know how to ski and stay warm out on the mountain all day long. You also need to understand the basics of digital cinematography: shutter speed, aperture, ISO and focus.
Most important: you must be easy to get along with; you can't be a flake; you have to be a good listener; and you have to be positive.
The internship in unpaid. The experience is unreal.
