So I hope I didn't make the title misleading, but I composed this music while trying to come up with an intro to a ski movie/long edit. I just wanted to get some ears on it to see what skiers thought. A dream of mine is to compose music for film, action sports like skiing in particular, so I was looking for some feedback.
The title comes from the drive to the west from the east in the wintertime. For those that have done it, it is sick as fuck. I wanted to try to produce the sound of all the desolation once you reach western Nebraska on i80 and then the sound of the mountains once you reach Wyoming/Colorado. The sound you first hear is wind blowing snow over an open space.
