i have the wallisch shorty and the durability is pretty bad (15 days and the sidewall is cracked and the bases have 3 core shots., i think the 160 slat is a perfect size. what would you say.

Well core shots are not really a durability issue any ski will core shot if you ride it over things. But the longer length wallisch jr skis like the 150 use almost the same construction as the mens for next season so you are just getting a smaller ski which performs like the adults version.

The slat in 160 will still be around 3 inches taller then you which when you weigh so little may be alot of ski to throw around. If it was for a powder ski it could maybe work but for a park ski if anything it will probably hold you back from progressing so quickly.

If you can find somthing with a decent top sheet check out womans park ski if you dont want to go the jr route. You basically need somthing short and womans park skis are often just mens skis made shorter.
