Tripod?

Looking for an affordable tripod that still does the job and is compatible for my Sony A6300. Any suggestions? Looking to really keep it circa $100, maybe travel capable and somewhat rugged, really the main things you'd look for in a tripod. Did some research and search bar stuff and didnt quote find what I was looking for. Help me out guys.

Oh man, its going to be tough to find something for $100 that fills your needs. TBH a tripod is the one thing you should never skimp on.

Best budge option is a manfrotto 701 kit, probably run you around $300 and it will break within 2-3 years. If you want something that will last you longer, you need to spend much more. I understand this inst an option, so you can do you best with you got, but you just need to understand that cheap tripods won't last you very long.

Just went in on a vct vpr1 for $94 off amazon 2 day shipping. Fit the bill with what I needed, gonna great for time lapses because it comes with a remote option. I think it will do for now, Ill be taking a lot of pictures with it from my house. gonna go test it out Friday in Minneapolis for a time lapse

I'm sure it'll be just fine for photos, but videos it will be mediocre.

Yeah, its more for time lapse and photos. It has an extended remote to smoother panning. I saw a comparison of it with two other tripods (cant remember exact models) but they were about $250 and $310 and they weren't impressively better for me to justify spending the extra $150-$210. Im not super serious into cameras yet anyway, it should suffice.
