Level 1 and women's progression.

So we all know that Tatum Monod is one of the gnarliest skiers out. Whether she's a woman or not you know she's got skill. I know there was a similar thread posted around 2008 about this but I think women's skiin is slowly starting to make a bigger rise.

Should level 1 open up a spot for a woman on the super unkown bracket? Not a whole event held around women quite yet; but I can see enough hype coming to girls giving it their all to open at least 1 spot to a girl for the finals. We all know that there's some amazing skiers out there especially women just not as much hype around we event that we get so stoked on. I think it would be a good step to help push the limits even further in the sport. I wanna know your opinions on the topic.

Tbh, I think the issue with this is that only the best women skiers (I.e. not 'unknown' talents) would be good enough to have a L1 part which doesnt feel like its been put in for the sake of it. In which case just invite them to film anyway as Tatum was. I'm all for a female L1 part but ultimately its a paid product theyre giving out here so theres a certain standard which the riders should meet

Is there any absolute shredders at your home mountain that are female? If so I probably haven't heard of them. I ski keystone and the women who rip there still only have a fraction of followers on Instagram etc. I think it presents a good opportunity.

I ski in a UK SnowDome so not many women throwing at a Level 1 level haha

Not being sexist at all there just to clarify, dont think ive ever seen any L1 level skiers other than US skiers touring over here

Level 1 shouldn't water down its movies just to show chicks . They should capture the best skiers regardless of age , sex , race etc. enough of this social justice warrior PC bullshit

Not about being a sjw. As I mentioned look at Tatum who ducking crushes. Find women that wanna put out street, park and other features.
It's about pushing limits for all elements of skiing. Not just some track suit wearing butter kings.

No offense women skiing is like women's basketball . Good on them but the majority of people don't want to neccesairly want to watch that

I'm not offended. There's some women that I love to watch skiing. Just like on the other side there's dudes that I hate to watch ski lol. I just think it'd be a great opportunity for some stars to absolutely shine. It's just 1 spot that I think would make a huge change. Just like women's big air is finally getting sick to watch women's park and urban can get there faster with help.
