Need help deciding on a new ski

I ride armada al dente 2015s and they're my favorite ski, i love a soft, buttery ski that i can ride park and all mountain on. The tip of my ski kinda fell apart and i need new ones next year. Should i just go for e-dollo 2017s or should i try something new?

If you can get it where you're from, try some faction 2.0, honestly. I ride all moutain (mainly jibbing around) and a lot of park still, and I'm on my third pair (not for durability reasons, they hold up so well it's crazy). To me they're just perfect, especially in the park, buttery yet poppy af, just wide enough, still light for a 101 underfoot. I'm always surprised at how fucking good they are whenever i clip back in after being away for a while.

Also, a big plus on them compared to al dentes which I've ridden, they will never wash out on you because of speed, seriously. I can carve the mountain god speed and they always hold up.

I'm sold on Armadas from how fun edollos and bdogs have been but if you want to try something new I'd go with the k2 poachers! The Line blends are also high on my list

Gotta agree with that, i havent tried the magnus but i used to have filthy riches and they were an awesome ski, they felt really nice in the park but were amazing while ripping down groomers

honestly factions are all amazing from what ive heard. Id recommend CT 1.0 because thats what i have and its my perfect park ski. Its amazing for rails, the edges dont really wear away easy, but they did crack a few times probably because i didn't detune them. They are perfect flex for jumps because you can still stomp tricks and be able to butter perfectly. They have a pretty medium flex and i feel like it's the sweet spot.

The only problem i have with faction is the durability of the ski is absolutely terrible. This is totally irrelevant though because i emailed them about the damage on my skis and with out hesitation they already sent out a brand new pair in the matter of days. They also included a nice beanie with them. By far the best ski experience ive heard of/had. Their customer service is amazing, and they responded insanely fast.

I got a pair of Black Crow Camox's in Aug before I took a trip down to Argentina. Skied on them for 30 days down there. I've ridden them all season here in the Boat and i think they have about 145 days of hard beating and the bottoms are still perfect, no edge cracks, no base welds and they still have a little camber left underfoot. I ski about 60/40 all mountain to park just for reference. The Camox is a great park ski, but still like to rip it up under the lift, I'm already trying to find another pair.
I never thought i'd be using a 97 underfoot as my everyday ski, but these boards have changed my whole approach to the mountain.

Glad to see somebody else enjoying the Crows besides me haha. I have a pair of the Venors from a few years back (Pretty much the baby brother to the Camox being 87 underfoot and more park oriented) and I love them. Sierra Trading Post had a deal on them in the 181 for just under $200 so I had to pull the trigger and I don't regret it. They are able to charge anything you throw at them at mach speeds but still slay the park when needed. I don't hit many rails because i actually enjoy not having edge cracks and dull edges but on jumps/cliff drops (Im a big mtn skier) they're stupidly stable and have never washed out on me. Not to mention they're rocker/camber/rocker profile makes them extremely versatile on days when theres fresh snow but not enough snow to bring out the fatter boards.

The ski I would recommend is the Line blend ski! it is very versitile and skis well in any conditions . Ive riden them for the past 2 years and the edges and bases have held up very well!

I have ON3P Kartel 106 and they rip the mountain. I do more big/all mountain than park, so I got the 106s but the current 98's would definitely suit you well. I have no doubt mine would tear up the park if I took them there and I see plenty of people who do. They are soft and poppy, yet hold steady when carving. Amazing skis, only negative is the top sheets chip easily but thats a problem for many skis.

They are great skis but on the older models the top sheet would chip easily, idk if that's still a problem on the newer ones, my really old 2012 walls topsheet chipped really easily. The skis ride switch very good, I loved my walls

does anyone actually care if their ski chips on the top... it doesn't do anything to your skiing. just messes up the graphic a little bit. all about edges and how easily they delam imo

i had the 2011 walls. I never had a problem with them. Good pair of skis

Idk if the construction is different on the 2.0s, but I had a pair of Faction 3.0s that snapped after 5 days of riding. I have a pair of k2 poachers and theyre the most bombproof ski ive ever ridden, and ssoooo fun and stable.

YunGBloodi had the 2011 walls. I never had a problem with them. Good pair of skis


they do ride switch nice, they are really good ski for jumps

Honestly anyone you talk to with slats can tell you they are a superrrr underated ski, I love mine, only reason im getting rid of them is they are a bit smaller than I like now but they held up super well for 2 or 3 years and still going. Give em a look. If not those Id go with Edollos maybe

Honestly anyone you talk to with slats can tell you they are a superrrr underated ski, I love mine, only reason im getting rid of them is they are a bit smaller than I like now but they held up super well for 2 or 3 years and still going. Give em a look. If not those Id go with Edollos maybe

poachers are definitely not soft. they're pretty damn stuff for a park ski. My experience with slats is pretty shitty, they blew up in 8 days and imo they didn't ski very well either, but for the price they're pretty decent i guess if they don't blow up. Poachers are my favourite park ski i've skied so far, it's nice to have something stiff so you can feel stable on big jamps
