Nine Royals 2017

Why is there no thread on Nine Royals yet? Is it getting less attention this year? The setup seems incredible yet again. Also, after Andri's quad cork I wonder if anyone else is going to try one on this setup, or if he is going to try some variations.

Don't know why but it seems this format gets less attention every year. Now they have reached a point where organizers couldn't justify separate entities for both genders.
If that trend continues you can expect this to die off within two years, would be a pity though.
Also until a year or two ago X Games Aspen were considered the one and only ultimate shit but even this appears to be shifting these days. But sometimes changes are for the good, keeps the sport interesting.

Andri's jump has been featured on NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox News, BBC, CNN, Sky News, and was twitter moment of the day. All with the Nine Knights sponsors in every clip. I would be willing to bet 10 times more people saw that clip than any skier in the X-Games. Great exposure for the sport and I'm sure Nine Knights and their sponsors are stocked about all the international media.

This is true. While in the last 2 years theres been word records and whatnot it seems less interesing that the sick edits from the years before the whole hip thing.

How bad would it suck if it rained the day after completion and then got real cold and just turned to ice since half of it a groomer cant get to.

I mean most of the takeoffs and landings are good but i hear ya. I wouldn't mind. It's a bummer if the product isn't stellar but I'd love to be on that crew no matter what. Hopefully I can impress schneestern enough or make some voodoo dolls and get on there eventually. Not that big of a build crew.

Peace Pipe is a super cool format, and I think the reason its so sick is because of the options. Same with this year's suzuki event. I think it got stale last year because of the lack of choices.
