LINCOLN LOOP 180 vs RODEO 5

Is there a difference between a rodeo 5 and a lincoln 180 or are those the same trick? ____________ ARMADA rules

naw, your right, rodeos and lincoln 180s are actually very similar. you can call a lincoln 180 a rodeo and get away with it.

There is a difference between those two tricks for sure. I a lincoln 180 youre supposed to do a side flip then a 180. In a rodeo, your your flipping and spinning in same time so there is no side flip because your doing a bore.

theyre kind of the same but a lincoln 180 is when u huck a sideflip and 180 around at some ponit a rodeo is when u could be goin for a cork 5 and u could just over cork it and and end up inverted the main difference is that a lincoln 180 is just spin a 180 thorugh ur air and a rodeo 5 is when you spin a 5 thorugh ur air

a stylie way to do it would be to do a full lincoln then late 180 right before you land, you couldn't call that a rodeo- and it looks sick

there only similar when people dont do them right and do a lincoln then a 180 and say its a rodeo, u can tell cause when a rodeo is done correctly you should see alot more backwards rotation in the spin.

snowcoast you are sooo wrong! a rodeo is a cork but your feet go over your head a cork is anything off axis where your feet are below your head. an underflip is comepletly diff since its thrown forward not backward its not similar at all to rodeos or corks. people need to learn more about classifying tricks.

they basically look the same but I think of a rodeo as a sort of crooked back in between a straight backfip and a lincoln with a spin added in.

lincon 1=lincon right spin right 180

or vice versa

If you are going to Cork 5, you drop your shoulder and spin around it. If you were to invert that, and bring your legs over your head, you would be doing a lincoln the same direction you are spinning. Rodeo goes the opposite direction, lincoln one leftside, spin rightside and the two are meshed together. And underflip is throwing similar to throwing a Cork 5, but going past that, and going inverted.

A rodeo 5 is a lincoln 180. A rodeo 7 would be a lincoln 360.

If you wanted to do it smoother and put the rotation in with the flip, technically that would be an underflip or a flatspin depending on how you did it.

It doesn't matter, you could call any of them rodeos or underflips or whatever you want

a underflip is like a front flip 180 so that you flip in the same direction you'd normally throw a lincoln, then then 180 out

its just the same trick, in most cases. If its thrown very clean, maybe you get the difference, but mostly not.

I remember dark when there was the discussion about a picture in the jumps section.
it was a (hi-quality) sequence where abma did something inverted but still with kinda rotation.

After about 50 comments, still noone knew what the trick was. The trick was called

- rodeo 7
- lincoln 3
- flat 3
- off-axis backflip
- off-axis 3
- underflip 3
- strange cork 3
- new trick, abma

So you can see, that often you can't really tell, what what trick is. The borders between some tricks are blurry and floating.

of course, a lincoln to late 180 is something different, but that wasnt the question...
