Brused Tailbone

I bruised my tailbone. Anyone who has had this happen can you give me any ideas on how to get it to heal faster?

yeah it sucks, ice and don't try to favour it too much or else you will start getting problems with your back and kneees. just keep doing a little bit of movement each day.

ice it 3-4 times per day,
and DO NOT fall on it again until its
fully better,
i bruised my hop rollerblading early in janurary,
then fell on it again skiing 3 weeks ago,
it was so bad from the second fall that i couldnt go off jumps at all unitl today,
and i cant do any big trick yet.

when i used to snowboard, i went huge off this jump at kimberley and landed on my tailbone. pretty much you have to get used to sitting strange at school and stuff. and don't sleep on your back. ice it and then heat pack it.

theres no way to make it heal faster just sleep on ur stomach and avoid sitting it took me a good 2 months before mine stopped hurting

yeah, i bruised mine pretty good this summer. i still feel it sometimes. but a lot of icing will help, but don't sit on the ice, lay on your stomach and place it on your tailbone. and once the bruising is gone, get a massage or two to get rid of the scar tissue surrounding the bone

I shattered mine last year.
all i can tell you to do is
*ICE*
and don't hit it again.
take it easy and get one of those little pillow things they make it feel somewhat better

best way to ice it so theres no presure on the tail bone is to stik the ice cubes up ur arse works a treat
