Haven't spent much time on NS the last few years. Usually check out the top rated videos every month or so but not spending any time in the forums. Felt that NSnostalgia today and took a look at the forums. Could be because I haven't been skiing as much as I usually do this season. Gotta get on that.

i haven't been a member for a super long time. when i first became a member i was on here multiple times a day, but now its maybe once or twice a week on the actual site, and even more rare in the actual forums. it's always interesting when i get on and see the same old members kind of running the site even if they aren't mods and then a bunch of newer members that kinda cycle in and out of nsg tryna get karma and make a name for themselves through stupid threads. i was one of these members too before i stopped getting on here so much

This thread makes me feel old, sad, depressed with a little happy? I came on here a lot as a guest then I made like 5 accounts and got locked out of them all, until this one finally worked I remember one summer day I just kind of got into NS and I swear to god I was on here for 10 hours that day.

I remember when my fucking dad told me about newschoolers when I was WAY too young to be on forum sites, before I moved into the town I live in now which happened when I was 11. I remember thinking about how useless posting online about skiing was, and that I'd way rather go skiing.

I would say I've been lurking here for like, 12 or 13 years which is actually more than half of my life time in total. Pretty good ratio.

I think how socal media has fuckin exploded. I know I was on NS back in 03. And finally got on in 04. To think how much the world has changed since then. Holy fuck balls. I do miss it. The tub gurl. The spam wars. The day when solid seven and laugh you lose posted. I miss the epic NHL threads. But things change. Way of the world
