So basically i have an edge that cracked in 6-7 places and the edge was peeling away from the core of the ski leaving a little gap. I assumed that water was gonna get in there so I am gonna attempt to replace the edge. I am gonna order this edge http://www.tognar.com/12-solid-edge-section-each/ with these screws http://www.tognar.com/edge-screws-10-bag/ and attempt to screw in the new edge piece vs just epoxying it like most shops do which doesn't work very well. I will grind down the heads of the screws. then i will epoxy a new piece of base material on since i tore up the base trying to rip it off. I am doing this because its either fix the ski, or scrap it. Does anybody have any tips on this before I go ahead and do it?
