ive heard of boiling them and stuff, but does it actually work?
or does someone else have a better way?
please let me know, as i cant afford to buy new skis, so i wanna twintip my old ones

use a heat gun, bend them in a vice, clamp them. then thell delam after u ski them, so put a shitload of good apoxy in between and thell be stronger then ever.

Don't boil them. a past issue of powder had a good method that CroatianSensation tried and it worked quite well. You heat up the tail with a heat gun, stick them in a vise, bend them, drill holes in a U shape arould the tail, then put rivets in the holes, and epoxy any areas that have exposed core. It works well.
