Rails?

Much of the style influence, trick selection and features we hit in snowboarding & skiing has come from Skateboarding, and prior to that -- surfing. Those sports have deeper roots in action sports culture as they have simply been around longer. In my opinion rails have become popular because it puts that much closer to the "distant relative" of our sport. Skaters have been hitting street rails for decades, snowboarding saw that & picked it up then skiing followed.

Further, it just adds such a massive amount of variety to a park. There's so many different options whether it be the features themselves or the trick selection that is available on something as simple as a downrail.

I personally love rails, they allow me to express that "skate style" that I find so fun in riding & the most inspiring. The fact that The Bunch, Keeshlife crew or the HG dudes can film a banger edit on a fucking park bench is awesome and I'm stoked it's making waves in our community
