Chapstick conspiracy?

every time I put on chapstick it only helps for like ten minutes then my fuckin lips feel more chapped then before, does chapstick purposefully make it like this so you use more chapstick?

I think that is true for some brands so you probably just need a different brand.

My high school girlfriend opened my eyes to burts bees, cause I didn't think any Chapstick worked. Never had chapped lips after that.

Maybe it was the peppermint in it, kinda burns right when you apply it.

Yeah berts bees is where it's at. I got so sick of the sticks because they would roll up into the cap and then get caked in and the stick is half shot then. So I bought a ten pack of tins off ebay because berts discontinued the tins..much better.

True, also sometimes it's the flavoring in them that will do it. I'll get two of the same brand, different flavors and one will dry my lips out and the other is totally fine.

Badger makes a sensitive skin hand balm that is just olive oil and beeswax, if anybody is super sensitive to flavors, as long as you keep the tin clean, you could probably put that on your lips. Burts Bees rocks too.
