First Time Doing Urban

For making the jump solid, use salt if it's warm and water if it's cold

Run your ski over the length of the rail to see if it slides smooth and fix any really bad spots if you can. Steel generally slides pretty well tho

Shouldn't need to detune your edges if you've been hitting rails already on em a good amount

Worst case take along a file and smooth it out a bit

just slide your ski edges along it and get the shot itll be cool filler, also go fast. really fast.

Yeah it's probably fine if others have hit it, but def keep it in mind that it (and most street rails) won't slide quite as well as park rails

But run your ski over it (while applying pressure to simulate some of the weight that will be on top of your skis when you're actually sliding it) and any parts that catch you up, you can probably fix em with a big file like the guy above said. If others have hit the rail recently most of the rust will be the easy-to-remove kind probably
