at my local mountain we have this damn rainbow rail and it's set up for beginners like ride ons and you have to pop uphill and it's so hard i made iit like almost 1/4 and i like almost died i pulled a damn muscle wait my muscle tore in my thigh so im out for a fucking while im pissed as hell

I find it hard to slide the up then gap to the down I always am to far on my back foot and always bust my hip.

It kind of depends on the degree of the up. First of all, i don't recommend 50-50ed the up. Your going to have to either slide it regular or gap to the flat part. Now, if it's a gradual up slope and it's a ride on with a small lip you can just pop up and grind the top without much problem. One thing i noticed though, on my brothers skis was hopping 'into' the up part of the battleship at high speeds is very bad for your edges... They don't like that too much. (This battleship was a beast though. See www.option5team.com for video. 53' Battleship 10' high!)
