Hyland Hills Park 2017-2018

your park was trash this year. My dog could've made a better park with its eyes closed and no legs. Such a disappointment.

I cannot believe you have the audacity to show your face in a freeskiing community. Your "park" was more of an obstacle course this year which I would more equate to a tree run in which you dodge the shitty features more than to a terrain park.

i can't tell if this is real, because Hyland doesn't actually care about their park. The only thing you do right is jumps and you somehow made those bad. So if you want to create a good setup, get new features(any rails will do) and stop making dinky crap that you call a feature. You need to know how to make a knuckle instead of one big slope with lips that wear down in days and become terrible. Get a real park crew, you guys don't do anything.

Pencil on a knuckle, Super being mid sized with a smaller mini. 3 humps on each side of small park and 2-3 on big. More boxes and rail / box connections. Better rails and boxes in mini park. Think about ALL levels of skiers and snowboarders this year.

How about making it a terrain park and not a jungle gym. I shouldn't have to dodge janky features.

1. Make your park flow. I don't want to hit a long rail and then hit 5 foot box right after it.
2. Build a quality dfd. Hyland has like 2 kinked rails
3. Learn to build lips. They aren't ramps, no one wants them over the rail, make an urban style lip please
4. Use space wisely, so much wasted space especially in small park
5. Combo rails/variety. There wasn't a flat rail for over a month at the start of the season
6. Get your shit together. Park crew isn't shoveling snow to another spot, actually change up the setup and start caring.
7. Ride your god damn park. Its annoying when something gets setup like shit and you don't realize it for a 2 months.
8. Pull out the older features. It was the same like 20 features the whole season, switch it up
9. Put the big rails on the knuckles. Don't put all the little shitty stuff in the big spots. Make features trickable.
10. DONE BE LAZY. Considering you guys didnt even change the heading of your thread from Nashoba's thread your not off to a good start

Wow! We were not expecting this quantity of positive feedback! Obviously, you guys think this year's park was good, but there is always room for improvement! By analyzing the feedback, a general theme we picked up on is that you guys really want to take the initiative to encourage new riders to join the freeskiing community. We think this is a great goal and we are happy to assist! In order to help, we are planning on extending the mini park further into small park and downsizing the features to encourage newcomers to the park! Keep the feedback coming, new images of features we are building for next year coming soon!

All this goodness not including the tranny/bowl area they have had and the crazy waterfall.
