except the doom movie coming out isnt even about the video game doom. and the halo single player stories both sucked. i dont see how they can get a story board from that crap.

The point of Halo is that its the first person shooter on console that sucks the least. If a decent computer wasnt more expensive than an Xbox Halo would not have had as much success since compared to other Pc first person shooters it sucks.

I liked the Halo games, but not to the point of warranting a movie. I didn't think the storylines were terribly compelling, but that's to my taste. I predict a Halo movie is going to turn out one of two ways. It will be a mindless shoot-em-up blood bath, or it will have one of those plotlines that is 'deep' so nerds will see it 7 times each...but I could be mistaken.

whats more interesting to me is that microsoft is getting into the film business. sure they say theyre doing this now so they can capitalize on the halo name, but it has to have been in the works for a while to spread into this new area. but yeah... the planet microsoft... isnt that right john?
