Yes, don't purchase the pack online. Go to a large outdoors store such as REI. Try on every pack they have. They will have sandbags to put in them so you can get an idea of what the pack feels like loaded. Everyone fits differently. Pack frames come in an assortment of different sizes. Beyond that, brand fit is like ski boots. You may fit Salomon ski boots, but not Nordica ski boots. You may fit a Gregory backpack but not an Osprey backpack.
When traveling I always go as small as possible. Tita nice when you can have everything you have on you, and still be able to do shit. Otherwise carrying abround the weight and finding places to leave your shot gets old.
In terms of pack I use an osprey atmos ag 65, best bag ever I'd say do the same style bag (idk what its called but I'm pretty sure its the same thing in an 85L)
Osprey makes really nice packs definitely Check em out but get what ever pack fits you the best. Also get some merino shirts if you don't already have them (sounds counter intuitive but they don't get as crusty as fast
