Replying to Thoughts on Fuji X-Series, Sony A6000/6300/6500, Other Small Travel Cameras
Hi all,
So right now I'm looking to get a second, small travel camera. I currently shoot on a Canon 7D2 with Canon 70-200 f/2.8L, Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 Art, Tokina 11-20 f/2.8.
I'm sure some of you guys have seen my stuff on here/ my Insta, but I shoot mostly skiing and other "adventure" types of shots. I've been traveling more recently and have been wanting a much smaller, lowkey type of camera to do city shooting with. I'm not into lugging 15 lbs. of gear everywhere I go and get stares when I put the camera up to my eye.
I've been really eyeing the Fuji X-series, but they're all quite expensive. The cheaper one's are older and kind of odd. I.E the Fuji X-E2S has a 200 ISO minimum. However I'm not opposed to these if there' significant reason to get one.
The Sony A6000 series has also caught my eye. Problem is, the newer A6300 and A6500 are almost $1,000 more than what I could get the 6000 for. They do have the updated 4K video, in-camera stabilization etc.
Right now, it seems like the A6000 is my best option. It would come with the 16-50 kit lens, but I could get a prime for about $200 more.
What do you guys think? Thoughts on any of these? Recommendations on a camera or somewhere I should go with all this?
TIA
