Replying to Go pro's video stabilizer

Was looking at upgrading to one of the new go pros with the video stabilization built in. Right now I have a session 3+ silver and when I'm skiing trees and things get rowdy it's hard to make stuff out with the chest mount same when I'm on my mountain bike and it's on my head cause it is just so shakey. Anyone out there that has used both that can speak to whether or not it is worth the $500 upgrade to get the latest and greatest?
