TheBagOTricksMight take a little roadie to MSLM next week, any locals know how the park is? Judging by the webcams it looks dope but some more info would be awesome.
Mr.BishopHow was Louis this year overall?
ZeMagnificentKevAnd it was dope! Every year they keep making new sick stuff for the Outback and bringing stuff over to the Junkyard, and now thanks to having extra stuff from the junkyard their schoolyard beginner parks even bigger! The junkyards always been a blast, but yeah now its straight balling, the NS cover shot a couple photo's back with the dude pretzelling the crap outta a rainbow rail was from the top half of the junkyard, its so smooth and set up perfectly. Really gonna miss the place and seeing all the new set ups they churn out, definitely gonna make a trip back here next year (gonna tell my mom im homesick, which is sorta true)
Mr.BishopYou moving now?
i really need to make it out there. It's just hard because whenever I'm in the area it's to visit my brother. He literally lives on top of blue mountain and you can ski out his door to the hill. Hard to justify driving to Louis. ;)
ZeMagnificentKevGoing to Okanagan college in Kelowna, Writing and publishing degree, starting in September. Love the hills around here and what they do, the amount of park rats they churn out, and kinda enjoy other things about Ontario lol but Big White and Kelowna captured my ski heart on a trip a few weeks ago. And lol im a "mature" student now so I can get hella OSAP money. Yeah man, I hear that, being on the other side of Wasaga its hard to justify driving to blue, we used to get passes there a long time ago though, when MSLM wasn't so on point. And for sure its worth atleast one trip, I was sad I couldnt make it to Blue the parks always a good time. Man if the TAFT Ontario stop works out you should make it for that! I know ill be saving money for a ticket, or gas to roadtrip with my stepbro or any of the other many Ontario dudes out there, for that date for sure, I'd have to be there for that. Also to meet Andy *girlish shriek a little inside*
ZeMagnificentKevWell I skied it Wednesday night, and unfortunately we'd had some real shitty weather the past week so basically all conditions were pretty bad (alot of sugar snow frozen into rock hard ice chunks) but hey that was night skiing, and the first half of the junkyard was closed because they had to take out like 4/5 features and re-do some shit (so the whole things open now, just lacking some features). Bottom was all the same, and its pretty fun still. I can't speak for the outback, It aint open for night skiing, but I know their gonna keep it open atleast untill the invitational, and its always a blast. Also we've gotten some decent snowfall recently, and the weathers gotten colder so their probably making as much snow as they can. Im sure itll be worth the trip, but the sooner the better man, also the Outbacks only open wed-sun so keep that in mind.
SkierGuyNickwhats the night life up there? its spring break for a lot of schools this week and we plan on partying a bit. Also how is the night skiing? I see this week only they are open until 9pm. I'm assuming since they only do night skiing one week a year it cant be very good.
