I have this years Armada Aldente Zero collection in a 178. I bought theses skis mid January, which means I probably have around 20 days on them. The skis are awesome! super fast due to the race base, super responsive and incredibly playful! No edge cracks and only one top sheet chip!
I'm writing this because the skis are separating under foot really bad. To make matters worse, I am not nice to my skis. I spend 90% of my time in the park with a majority of that time on rails.
Problem one:
Underneath the heal piece on both skis the top sheet is separating from the sidewall and core. I Have attempted to epoxy them back together, but as the picture shows, they opened up again.
I'm going to epoxy them again but this time i'm going to use screws to ensure a stronger hold.
Anybody with Aldentes or Edolos have this problem? How did you guys solve this problem?
Problem two:
The tip is delaminating really bad. This is all my fault. I ate it off a rail and slammed the tip right into the support post.
I know rivets work well but I have no clue how to hide the rivet so the tube of the rivet isn't protruding up or down. What about screws? Like the disks with threads on them with teeth on them so they don't spin. Have no clue what their called.
Thank you for any help you guys offer!
