Yo guys and gals, I work at evo in addition to making words and photos for Newschoolers, and we're putting on a pretty cool event a week from Monday at Alpental ( I heard they're even going to turn off the rain for once).
But really, it'll be cool, attendance on the day is capped at 300 people for the whole mountain. So no lift lines and no one to snake your line, all for less than the price of a 1 day lift ticket at Vail. The event supports the Northwest Avalanche Center, which is rad, because they help a lot of people (like me) not die in the backcountry.
Check it out, here's some details:
Join NWAC and evo for a private ski/ride day at Alpental
