Weather will be the factor. If it's nice and Summit is open will be awesome as you can ski any direction you like. All the "backside" is un-patroled" so you need to have a partner to ski with. Same goes for skiing trees if you are smart.
Maybe you can meet a local in the contest that will show you around. That would be best.

This one is with my old camera so not quite as good, but good info. More terrain is now open below this East Catchline, but the runout at the lower catchline will be quite flat and some uphill areas that you might need to skate a bit. Still on the right day would be worth it. Good luck to you in the competition.
