.lenconUgh this thread again.. ;)
Interested in the Steeple 116 or BG for my tour ski next year. If all goes well, pretty sure I'm gonna get an actual tour set up. Tech binders and everything.
What is the biggest difference between BG and S116?
Just a tour layup and slightly different tail? Man I really wanna try out the new BG/Steeple shape.
Also, just and idea, but I think a thinner, more job oriented version of the C+D would be sick.
_Jeffrey_Wrenegade 88 sounds like so much fun to rip around the hardpack
crotchventI'm thinking the same thing. Need a replacement for an everyday ripper.
_Jeffrey_I've been on a few pairs of ON3Ps and I've been so satisfied I'd buy a pair without even selling them lol
TheRackerDoes anyone know the reason they changed their release schedule?

iggyskierWe're not a publically traded company who has to worry about fitting in ski sales at the end of a fiscal year with half the ski season still left, and we don't believe it is healthy for the industry to be putting out new products that are unavailable for 8 months while right in the middle of the current year's product cycle. As such, you will see us shift more and more to a product cycle that makes sense for a brand our size, rather than the one dictated by a 20 year old, outdated business model.
Glad everyone is liking the skis for next year!

BWalmerMagnus, Kartel 98, Kartel 116 = greatest quiver of all time. I can't think of anything you can't do on that
M.MI can attest to that, except I'm on jefferey 114's still.
Can anyone explain the differences when they switched from Jeffrey to k116
supersquidDidnt feel like making a brand new thread so ill just post here. Does anyone know how the kartel 98's break in? I just got a used pair that had seen very little park and were in great condition. I got them mounted at true center and they are pretty stiff. Will they become more playful over time?

Permanent place in the quiver.

rudagerI tore apart my Jeffrey 122s the other day, and miss them so. I've been looking at the Cease and Desist as a replacement.
It has similar dimensions to the Jeffrey, and I'm a big fan of the 193.
How do they compare?
SessionNot even close to the same kind of ski. That being said. The K116 is better than the Caylor/Jeffery in that size ever was.
rudagerCompared to the Billy Goat? I've owned both.
BG is more so my style, big mountain charger and all. But the Jeffrey's had the float and play factor.
SessionMaybe in the future we will get a C&D a little slimmed down with a BG rocker profile. That would be hot.
LazerHawkWhat are you guys getting from the 2018 lineup?
.lenconWhat is the recommended mounting point on the Magnus?

Profahoben_212wouldnt go that fat for a tour ski...considering 80 percent of our touring out here includes corn. youlle just be carrying weight.
get the regular BG with alpine bindings and a separate tech setup...steeple 108
.lenconyeah Ill probably not get either.. dont need to spend any more money. Might be going in a different direction for my quiver as well. I am constantly re-evaluating my quiver at times lol.
Profahoben_212Same hahha it's always shifting. Just take what fits your bill and comes your way...no need to be too rigid
