Ski length

i recently went to a freestyle night at a snowdome in the uk and they do not rent out twin tips i am looking to buy a pair of old line afterbangs in a slightly beat up condition however i am 180cm and they are 150cm would they be skiable??

Fuck if they can kind of glide across snow and the binding's sort of work their skiable. But yeah that's pretty small for you, itll be fine learning but once you get like a little decent you're gonna wan't one's around your size. Also how old are these afterbangs? That skateboard deck'like design,just like actual skateboards, doesn't do very well with extended use in wet condtions, they could fall apart like wet rotten cuts of wood as soon as you apply a lil pressure, especially with your height and no doubt weight. For sure atleast ask the seller to bring them to the snowdome so you can try em for one run, and if their decent and cheap as fuck go for it. Cause you wont be happy with that size for long.

07 Invaders?! Shit you best make sure those are in good condition son. Wtf do Brit's only own old ass Line skies? One of the first LINE skies i remember seeing my stepbro rock were 200 and fucking 9 LINE invaders's, sick ass top graphics as well. But god damn 07's?! you know, maybe their in fine condition for such an old ski, But I highly fucking doubt it. These are not firearm's forged from solid steel and encased in Cosmoline to allow them to last many many years. They are skies, and if they were used for more than a couple season's then thrown in someone's attic you probably don't want to buy them. Fucking 07, tell that cheap fuck to give them to you for 5 god damn pounds max. I have absolutely no idea what kind of bindings even you can expect on those, maybe a very OG member can help that out?

OKAY, 2009 was the last year for the Invader's. DO not buy them, Buy a even a god damn cheap ass pair of regular non twin tip skies from this fucking Decade, and learn to ski on them. If their cheap buy em and make a table out of them you could probably flip em to a OG LINE skier, much better use of them than trying to use them in any kind of park.

I feel for you man, I can't imagine the market over there is very saturated with twin tips. But I did a little looking for yeh and something along the lines of these is what you should be going for. Apologies if the that ain't cheap cause of shipping or the private sellers are all the way on the other fucking side GB, but you're probably gonna have to put some work in to get em cheap and decent, and your size.

thanks so much for taking the time once i have stopped growing i will buy some good equipment and head over to the us but for now if i buy skis they will become to small in about a year and i only ski once or twice, but again many thanks

Those seem a bit short for someone who stands at 180cm. Just for a comparison, I am 165cm tall, I ride 166cm skis for park currently and the smallest ski I have is 162cm and even that feels a bit short for me.

I'm going to agree with eHeath, around 170cm at least, would be a good length to aim for. A lot of people on here sell relatively cheap skis in the Gear section. There's also online outlet shops, it would be a bit to ship but it usually is when anything comes internationally unless you can find something around you that's cheaper.

I have no idea what shipping would be like the UK as most sellers are in the US, but you should check out geartrade.com. They got mad deals on used skis that aren't 10 years old like those invaders
