College, Going to Colorado Steamboat Springs

Whats up guys I just got accepted to steamboat boat springs colorado and I have a few questions for ya.

First of all where should I get my pass to? Steamboat would be easiest but Breck and keystone would be awesome as well. Is there an epic pass type thing that would give me access to all of them?

Hows the party scene? Pretty low on the priority list, Im going out there to ski and get an education but I think you can tell a lot about a place based on how chill their party policies are.

Any homies going out there as well?

Jobs, I have worked at a ski hill since I was 15 and Im going there for Ski buisnes so a Job at a retail store store would be cool, or a tuning shop considering I have experience tuning skis. Is there a lot of opportunity out there?

sausage fest of underpaid dudes in a ski town, nothing new.

pass to the mtn is more then a full epic pass and the only additional mtn you get is winter park(which is a way better mtn then steamboat)

great way to get out to co and meet some people.

try and get residency before you go and its only 60 bucks a credit i believe

i came out to school, went for 2 years.

5 years later and i go to the mtn 2-5 times a year and ride my snowmobile 1500 miles a year

down payment on a brand new snowmobile is 1/3 the price of a steamboat pass if you're interested

I would just find it hard to justify driving from steamboat to keystone whenever you wanted to ski.

going to either school for buisness, colorado is 1 of 2 schools in the country that offers ski buisness as an associates degree. Im open to either but why did you say go to U of U?

I wouldn't necessarily consider this a good thing, you would have a lot more options in life if you just got an actual business degree.

True buy my goal is to work in the ski industry, I have heard the connections made through that program are great. But I would be limiting myself.

Just more of a college experience, I grew up my whole life in Steamboat and moving was the best thing that's happened to me. I just can't imagine going to college there. Don't get me wrong I'm in love with the place, it's just very small and there's not all that much going on.

Meh i dunno steamboat is one of my favorite mountains in colorado, parks just OK, but the rest of the mountain is pretty awesome, skiied WP a lot and was never that impressed with it. also, steamboat is awesome in the summer, really good variety of stuff to do.

Also, the "scene" in steamboat is way better than summit county (Frisco, breck, keystone, etc. area) way cooler more down to earth people in steamboat. its got a small town feel without the drawbacks of a small town, there's still a shit ton to do.

summit county is a bunch of rich kids from the east coast who come here to pretend to be a chill ski "bum" smoke/drink daily and ski a couple times a year. but maybe thats appealing to people..
But yeah if you care about parties, i guess summit county has more of that.

Agree about summers here for sure

Scene is much better then summit too

park has actually improved quite a bit in the past few years
