Resorts near Seattle in march?

Got a free place to stay in Seattle mid march and would like to hit up snoqualmie/alpental and mt baker, maybe even crystal while we're there. Never skied this part of the country but I know it is notoriously wet. The extended forecast for mid March is saying 50 degrees and rain. Does this usually mean snow in the mountains? Don't really want to ski in the rain but have always wanted to ski up there. Whats it like during that time of year? Worth it? Or should I spend the extra cash and go to Colorado where it's supposed to be nice a sunny?

It usually needs to be at or below about 45 degrees in town for there to be snow at the base of the mountains. You might be okay at Crystal because you don't ski the bottom of Crystal Mountain much anyway.
All times are Eastern (-4)
