howdy. so long story short i was gonna buy kartel 108s but my shop sold out of them and now i need a new pair of skis pretty quickly since i jumped the gun and sold my old jefferys (2012/13).
so now I'm trying to decide what to buy instead. I have a park/shit conditions set up already so im looking to pick up a new daily driver.i live out west in canada and ski pretty fast and aggressively half the time and like to pop and jib off everything the other half. i will ski almost everything with these, even the occasional jump line in the park. so same old stuff - stiff enough to be stable carving, spinning/dropping into, and blowing through crud but also poppy enough to skip through and tranny in cut up sections after a pow day.
coming from my old jefferys, i found i could absolute bomb with them through pretty much anyhting and they would even save me a bit at times if i aired into a super cruddy bumpy zone and i could just straight line it through. however at times i did find them somewhat cumbersome in the air and in tighter tree sections and more technical chutes and shit.
anyway, which of the above do you think might suite me best? the moments seem most similar to the kartels, but i found the factions at another shop for 580 dollars (versus 800+ for the moments and lines at my normal shop. which i kinda feel bad not going through them but hey thats capitalism). any opinions? my biggest worry would be the faction's durability and the lightness of them causing them to get banged around a bit in crud.
