Damn, ON3P coming out with some cold hard evidence that Skicat/Ryan is an entitled brat.
I've never heard of a ski company that extends warranties to second-hand owners. Hell, the only industry I can think of that almost always does this is the automobile industry, and even then it is limited.
Suck it up buttercup, you purchased a used pair of skis and they broke. Next time if you care so much about warranty buy new.
Idk I've broke both pairs I've owned pretty quickly, my kartels I smashed on a rail like 4th day and the edge went like halfway into the base. Got em fixed, but they are still very rough lol with the edge still kinda in the base. I don't blame on3p at all tho I probly would have destroyed a ski made by another brand beyond repair, so I recommend On3p to friends and will probly buy another pair down the line they kill it
Got a pair of wrenegades in 09 or 10, never had a ski hold up so well. Haven't skied em in a few years but they are still completely rideable. Would love another pair but it's hard to justify paying 700 when you can find other brands skis for half that price online or through hook ups.
i had ON3P filthy riches and they broke. they are like any other ski and all the hype is just hype. also they skied like shit but not that it matters when you center mount them. i would never get them again
also seems the on3p people are really going hard to make sure any 'negative' reviews are not their fault and the consumer is at fault. there was another thread, like this one, that they went all out on the 'facts' to call out someone who had a bad experience with their skis.
seems kinda dick-ish but guess ya gotta protect the brand image

Hey Ryan aka skicat (from earlier in the thread) aka felon,
Look. I get that you are unhappy with your experience, and I get you are unhappy with my reply. No ill will on our end, but your vindictive attitude and woe-is-me approach to life isn't going to get you far. Life's too short to spend all your time angry. Furthermore, using an alias to drum up support for yourself by shitting on ON3P to make you feel better about yourself isn't going to change the situation or how you handled it, especially after removing your original posts. If you want to state something, at least have the courage to stand by your words.
Truly, I hope you find some peace and let this go. This was over 2 years ago. I know you have better things to worry about than your next shot at big bad ON3P and how we go "really hard" to shit on negative reviews.
ON3P is far from perfect. We work hard to do the best we can. That doesn't and won't ever cover each and every customer and ski with a perfect experience - but the illusion that we're out to get people with "facts" seems like the statement from someone who is busy crying over spilt milk.
Truly, no ill will on our part. Take care dude.

This guy, right here, is essentially the only reason why I still am involved in the ski industry at all.
At all.
Think about that. I used to work exclusively in the ski industry. From '02 to '12 it was literally all I ever wanted to do.
I've been involved in the ski industry since '04. It's changed a LOT. And Scott Andrus and ON3P is the only reason I still give a shit about the industry, honestly. All my love for the industry is focused on these guys. This brand is a shining ray of hope for me. If ON3P ever stopped making skis, I would stock up on 15-20 pairs of them and would never spend another day thinking about the industry again - it would be soul shredding pow at Alta till the end of my days and nothing more.
*EDIT
I love you too, Bishop, you still my boi

Literally the same. I moved away from my home mountain and have gone skiing a grand total of 4 times in 2 years (which is painful when you realize I work at my home mountain and skied 100 days a season for 5 years). ON3P is really the only excuse I have to stay interested in skiing (and honestly to even go skiing). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love skiing - but being a grown up along with living 3+ hours from the closest decent mountain gets in the way (used to 20min on a bad day...) ON3P is the only company I know I can count on in the ski industry right now. They have never done me wrong in the 5 or so years I've spent on their skis. My old boss used to say "if a nuke went off, the only thing left at the mountain would be the cockroachs in the pump house and your skis" and I truly believe him.
this is getting fun.
but like damn you really dont like when people talk shit about your company and will go to any measures if they do to call them out.
so Fact 1-
I bought rental skis from my local shop. the owner told me they would be under warranty and as apart of that I had to pay them to mount them
Fact 2
I skiied them like 4 times and they broke so I took them back to the shop and they said again no worries ON3P is cool and they will warranty them no big deal
Fact 3
after a about a year they didnt do anything so a classmate of mine said he grew up with a guy that worked at ON3P and to just get my skis back. he texted the guy and said yeah it would be cool to call so I did. ends up ON3P says they dont warranty skis that were previously mounted. so I was like uh what do I do now and ON3P said go back to the shop and work it out
Fact 4
you says it broke because of the bad mount job but explicitly told me you wouldnt say that then and say it was the shops fault
Fact 5
I went back to the shop and said hey so ON3P says they wont warranty them but you said to me they would be so whats the deal? and from what I can tell its from how they were mounted. He said that because you had delam problems you had to warranty a bunch of skis and now are being difficult and would talk to ON3P.
Fact 6
I went back to the shop to figure out what was going on and talked to the owner in the lower part away from customers and he was mad but was cool and gave me new skis from the shop floor and said he would take it up with ON3P.
Fact 7
I put those skis up for sale cause after about a season of not having skis and skiing friends skis I decided I liked the Armada alphas better.
fact 8
scott. from ON3P. saw my add and called my cell phone and bitched me out for getting new skis and then just selling them.
ON3P were dicks the whole time and continue to be dicks about it.
Call me salty or entitled or whatever but sorry for thinking the skis would be warrantied after the shop owner tells me they would and then takes them back saying they would. Also I don't remember harassing anyone or throwing any tantrums like you say. I was just trying to figure it out and was being nice cause I realized that I did not qualify for a warranty but at the same time was told I would get a warranty. I was just trying to figure it out and only by the grace of the shop owner being cool did I get lucky.
Going through your 'facts' you know how it actually played out and they are a biased spin of what happened and lengths you have gone to call out anyone is just too fun.
Cheers.
would not buy ON3Ps again Would not recommend to a friend
