SammyDubzwhat do you mean by fake? like set up?
marrowsIf that cunt could really ski switch he could have easily avoided the kid.
SammyDubzand what about this thread changed your mind haha

freeballerSomeone has to know who this punk is. What's his name and where does he ride?
jakeordieWhat if the dude didn't see the kid, ran into him on the takeoff, did a switch 1/2 backflip to the knuckle and died?
Or what if he didn't shove the kid, and next lap the kid did it again and some other dude died?
KretzschmarThis happened in LAAX and this is his Instagram

OldSpiceYeah, because shoving the kid down let him know what he did was wrong and how to better conform his actions. Makes complete sense. I dislike bullies and they quickly learn to dislike me.
jakeordieYou didn't answer the question. Would your opinion of gaper kid be different if switch dude was dead because of this?
Suggesting that "the right thing" is for switch dude to play dad or yellow jacket for everyone that does this sounds ludacris HEADS UP WOOP WOOP

OldSpiceAgain... Shoving the kid down does little to nothing in the way of preventing the parade of horribles that you imagine are going to happen. This kid probably has no idea why he was pushed down or he might even think it was just an accident. You don't want the kid to be in this situation again because a serious injury might occur to him or others? EDUCATE HIM. No one is suggesting you play dad, you might find you need to educate him as well...
You want to ski park you need to accept this sort of thing happening. You want to shove him down and expect he learns from that? Really? How so? BTW, to answer another question, pushing the kid down amounts to a criminal battery by definition. Although it would be extremely unlikely that a DA would ever choose to prosecute under the circumstances, if that had been my kid, prosecution would be the least of tough guy's worries.
jakeordieStill not answering the question.....if switch dude died, y'all would be railing against gaper kid with that same self-righteous attitude. The outcome don't change the morality of the situation.
Kid is at fault, and it's the resort's job to solve the problem. I propose we build a wall and make them pay for it lol
OldSpiceI'm really not looking to pick a fight but you seem a little dense or you're being willfully ignorant. "What if the dude didn't see the kid... and died?" Then switch dude would be dead because accidents happen and you assume that risk when you engage in this type of activity. "What if he didn't shove the kid... and some other dude died?" Do you really think the kid would figure out from the fact that someone ran into him/shoved him down that he probably should cut across a jump line? So shoving a kid down is the best way to be certain that this type of incident doesn't happen again??
That is the position you advocated and I simply stated that I failed to see how that works. I then suggested that educating the kid might be more effective, to which you took offense. That being the case, please explain to me how shoving the kid down conveys the message more effectively than having a conversation with the kid? Failing that, maybe troll some other thread.

jakeordieDude, you quoted me and built your little straw man in my name.....that failed, so you switch to character attacks. But you're not looking to pick a fight :)
I didn't advocate the position you wanna battle. Your "accidents happen" answer is weak, and then you avoid answering my 2nd question a 3rd time. That's all I'm offended about.....don't make me the foil in your holier-than-thou drivel.
waiting4snowNot a fan of what that guy did to that kid, inexcusable. That being said what were the kids DINs set at?
